In the 1970s I lived in Bromsgrove in Worcestershire. I remember an article in the local paper about apt names of local businesses, which mentioned that the town had 4 aptly named butchers shops.
I have been searching for years for some mention of this since, as I couldn't remember all of the names - well, I've found them. The butchers were called:
Partridge
Lamb
Bullocks
and (the best name)
Badham & Grizzell
(Commonly known as bad ham and gristle)
And in the nearby town if Kidderminster there is an Estate Agent (Real Estate Broker) by the wonderful name of Doolittle and Dalley.

Which reminds me of the Lancre Morris Men in Terry Pratchett's Lords & Ladies:
Carter the Baker
Baker the Weaver
Tailor the other Weaver
Weaver the Thatcher
