Hello All, This is for the british ugoto's or anybody else who can answer my dilema,, I need a recipe for CLOTTED CREAM... I have several from here in the USA but I'm looking for a
specific one made in U.K. I'd greatly appreciate it.. Bamber? Paulie? Konifur ask Annie,, And watch your mouth K-man, I head that!! LOL LOL LOL LOL

i will tell you what i can do. if you like cooking, i will send you Jamie Oliver's cook book by email.he is a Brit and you never know it may well be in there.
see not one fucking swear word there......oops.

i think bamber will be the best one to help you as the people in Devon are known for their cream.

INGREDIENTS:
2 pints Full cream milk (preferably Jersey, if not the creamiest you can find)
PREPARATION:
Pour milk into a basin or dish, and leave in a cool place for at least 8 hours. The cream will rise to the top. Put the dish over a pot of boiling water. You may want to use a double boiler. Simmer the water until the cream begins to show a ring around the edge and the surface just begins to bubble.
After about 45 minutes to an hour, remove from heat. Let the cream cool, and skim the clotted cream from the surface.

I always thought you were very smart and I thank you !! This is what I've been looking for!! You are the BEST !!!! But I want to know why I couldn't get that same info from Google? I noticed your link came from them?!?! But when I googled it, I never saw that page at all!!
