The lawyer of Henry Smith had to admit to the courts that his client was not a very smart person. Moments after Henry arrived home with a stolen stereo, the police were at his door to arrest him. He was easy to track… he had his name tattooed in large letters on his forehead.

A Santa Cruz county jail inmate set off the metal detector causing the deputies to search him. They couldn't find a thing but the detector told them that a piece of metal was located in the man's middle section. X-rays of his stomach showed an eleven and a half inch handcuff key which they assumed he swallowed to later use to escape. There were no flies on these deputies though. They settled in for a close and patient wait knowing the key would eventually show up.
While reporting the theft of her car the women mentioned that her cell phone was still in the stolen vehicle. Police called the cell phone number telling the crook that they were answering an ad from the news paper to buy the car. Thinking it would be a good way to unload the stolen car and make a few dollars, the robber made arrangements for a meeting where he was arrested immediately.
Two friends in Johannesburg, SA were practicing shooting beer cans when one friend was seriously wounded with a gun shot wound to the face. What did they expect when they were shooting the cans off one another's heads!
An Orange County man landed in court after being fined for driving in the carpool lane alone. He told the judge that he was not alone and should be able to count the four frozen bodies he was carrying in his mortuary van. The judge explained that frozen cadavers do not qualify as passengers.

More than 600 people make the stupidity list in Italy and all for the same reason. After reading an advertisement touting vacationing on Mars for a mere $10,000 per person, more than 600 people booked their next get away on Mars. The ad offered Martian camel rides, beautiful oases' and incredible Martian sunsets. Authorities believe the bogus travel agency running the ad got away with over $6,000,000.
