I love this movie...
The producers of the film, which was based on the children's
book "Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH," were informed by
the toy company Whammo that they couldn't use "Frisby" as
the name of their lead character. The only problem was that
they had already recorded John Carridine's voice for the film
as the old Owl, who used the name "Frisby" several times in
his dialogue. Rather than spend the money to re-record him,
they editorially replaced the "F" sound with a "B" as best
they could, and changed her name to Mrs. Brisby in the script
for the other actor's recording sessions.
