I hated the voting thing, at first. But, I'm used to it now.
Although, one of it's purposes was to slow down the reposts/repost complaints. And, it hasn't exactly done that. If anything, there are more reposts & complaints about them.

I like all of the features. It's not confusing, once you figure out where everything is.
Site features are like diamonds. The more, the better.

We have to figure out a way to get more people in that damn chat room. That place is a wasteland, most of the time.
And, preferably people that actually speak. You log in thinking that there are people in there. And, either everyone is idle. Or, it's just people that don't understand how to conduct an actual conversation.
I'm sick of carrying all of those conversations, in there. My arms are tired.

This has been mentioned, in the past. But, let's do that clothing line thing ! You know, the ugoto t-shirts, etc. I would totally wear a ugoto t-shirt ! It would be great exposure for the site, as well.

i know this has been said alot, but i want a few more emoticons:

4) some sort of bling

but i think its a great site, and thats all i can offer

I really enjoy the chat room,however,I am sometimes logged in there and get bored and go messing around elsewhere and sometimes I even leave the room still logged on.I hope you are not considering taking it away......

Just off the top of my head, I have really learned a deep appreciation of the effort you put into this site. Although I like the voting feature, I miss a lot of submissions due to not having time to sort through 4 or 5 pages of them, and I've also seen there's a lot of top quality submissions that quickly get buried underneath mass submissions, and not earning the votes they might really deserve. (and NOT just my own ) Sarah also brought up a really good point on the chatroom. I dont take the time to go there because of having to log in just to find out who else is in there. I'm not too much on chatting with most of the teeners. Yes, you can check out the stats page, but my gut tells me that if the user is also checking out a new joke, that the user is only shown in jokes, and many of us multitask. Finally, I'd like to suggest an additional ranking, starting at 5000, or even 10,000 tokens, and offer these ultimate users site perks... like the VIP lounge at the airport. I really like the voting. I get a kick out of posting something I think won't get too many votes and it flys to the front page. It is also interesting to see something you think is so funny flop.

The front page could change more frequently because of voting. This keeps Ugoto fresh and a reason for many that only visit the front page and can lead to more members who really don't know how this site works.

I agree with Gator about good posts getting buried by other numerous posts. A limit of 5 PER category per day would be a good idea.

A previous blog (http://www.ugoto.com/blogs/44930.html) said regarding reposts: "allow site elders to flag content as a dupe and remove it automatically from the site." What happened to this? This would have been great since the post would just disappear instead of others embarrassing the repost comments.

Now, what can we do to help this site? Click on the advertisers. They pay for this site!

I think the site is really great, and the voting is a great idea, which is very helpful too.

Maybe the moderators should check the posts, and remove the ones which are unsuitable for the site, and let people carry on with voting what should be on the front page.

In short, I have nothing to complain about.
Except, that when I get an e-mail that I have a reply to my comment i dont have the link so i can see the reply.
Can we please please have the option to recieve a notification in the private ugoto message box?

The only improvement I can think of is to have some way of seeing who is in the chatroom before logging in. I remember some time ago, there was a list on the side of the main page that told you names of who was actually in there. That way if you see someone you want to talk to, you're more likely to log in.

Keep up the good woork Joe, i admit when the changes first happened i hated the voting thing, now i am getting used to it. i have to agree with gater tho the only thing is sometimes they are too many submissions so i miss looking at most content unless i have tome to flip through lots of pages!!! I surpose it would be nice if the submissions had date and time submitted so i could keep upto date. One other feature i miss is could you please make it possible to mark messages in our inbox so we can delete many rather than one at a time, have have gathered many at the moment and it would take me days to delete them individually lol. Erm More emoticons but i bet your sick of hearing that one, and i also agree it would be nice if we could see on the main page just like buddies, who exctally was in the chat room. Other than that UGOTO is the place to be :) Oh one more think i loike the idea gater had about having higher rankings :)

I don't have any ideas really, exceopt for more emoticons and also maybe a limit to the number of submissions by a user per day? I usually end up with 5 or 6 pages of stuff to go through if I miss a day or two, so a lot of stuff never gets seen. And it helps stop people from submitting 20 things at once.

One other thing, purely cosmetic: would it be possible to move all the "advertising" links to the sides of the page, and the "random media" (currently on the ride side of page mixed with ads) maybe under the submission itself? Like right underneath the "Report Media" box, where Super Hot and that otherone currently are?

I love this site, and when it comes to merchendise thats nothing you cant do with a permenent marker and a white t-shirt.
i like everyone would love more emoticons, and more people in the chat room ( put the chat room link were you put the media channals and user content)
