I like many American TV programs.
to many to think of at the moment, but these are some of my favorites...
Malcolm in the middle
that 70`s show
the savages
and of course The simpsons.
what English TV programs do you receive and what English one do you like.
the only TV soap i watch is coronation street.have any of you seen that one as it is typical working class from the north of England.

Watching professional fishing on TV is just watching a bunch of master baiters
hold their rods

Politics is just a bunch of mass debators in one room

For me the British tv production is the best in the world.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you
didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from
the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

The only show I watch somewhat regularly is Top Gear. Those guys are hilarious.

As far as old shows go, I own every episode of Flying Circus

Benny Hill....can't forget him

I LOVE Absolutely Fabulous (Ab Fab) !!! That's an awesome fucking show !!

But other than that, I don't much care for the Brit-com's.
It's not because I don't get the dry, British wit. It's not hard to understand. Get over yourselves.
It's because it's too damn stuffy. Those shows make you all seem like such tight assed, snobs.
It's too confining for me.

That's NOT TO SAY that, that's what I think British people, in general, are like.
I'm not one of those people who thinks what is represented on tv, is what it's like in real life.
I've been to England. I've known several British people. In real life & on here. Hell, I'm half English. lol
I just don't enjoy most of your shows.

I don't hang out here much anymore...

I loved that show too, but I can't find it on any of my stations.

Are "Toys r Us" in the ghetto called "We b Toys"?

I have to agree with Sarah. I wanted to comment earlier but she summed it up the best; but that is all we have seen like in the last 10 years. There really isn't that much from there that comes over here.

People will forget what you said.
People will forget what you did.
But people will never forget how you made them feel.

Why do you spell it programs, and not programmes?

Although previously mentioned, Monty Python, and Benny Hill. I also like "Whose Line is it Anyway?", which spun off an American version. My dish offers BBC America, which I watch occasionally, paying special attention to the news programs. I like hearing a "Third Party" view of the U.S. and it's politics. Humbling at times

I don't have to attend every argument I'm invited to.

This is an age in which one cannot find common sense without a search warrant.

that's actually why I first got digital cable.....has BBC and Sky. Much more ineresting news than the same old crap here. Just not enough to warrant the higher expense though....
