Who Cares About Gay Marriage?


Can someone please explain why Gay people getting married is such a big deal nowadays? Whether you accept it or not, gay people are people. People should be able to get married if they want. All this bullshit about it being against "American family values" or something like that bothers me too. How does two men or two women marrying each other make your family any worse off? Two people are going to be together for the rest of their lives and want to get married, how does that affect your family? If you don't like it, too bad. What business do these people have banning Gay marriage? It just doesn't make sense to me at all.

I suppose when I decided to make this page I didn't realize that it would work better as a debate. There is no valid reason you could state saying why you don't think a homosexual couple should be able to marry. Seriously, if you've ever considered e-mailing me to challenge me on a subject I've written about, do it with this. I'm right, you're not. Gay marriage shouldn't be the huge topic it is. If you want to marry another person, you should be able to without them trying to pass a constitutional amendment about it for crying out loud! I was watching MSNBC this week when I was out of town (I swear, I only watch that when I'm trying to sleep) and they had that cranky douche Joe Scarborough interupting people left and right. They weren't talking about gay marriage. I just thought I'd mention that Joe Scarborough is a douche.

I don't really have a whole lot to say other than what I've already said. That's that marriage shouldn't be up to anybody but the people getting married. But maybe a constitutional amendment redefining marriage wouldn't be a bad idea. Perhaps defining it as a union between two people? Because one time after Who's Line Is It Anyway? the 700 Club was on. Oh boy, I hate that show. They had this guy on talking about how if Gay people can get married, why can't three people get married together? That's stupid. Let's all define a marriage as a union between two people and then just shut the hell up and let people marry whoever they want.

i dilike gays the point of life is to have kids to grow and have kids and so on to keep the world going tell me how thats going to work

I see no reason to not allow gays to get married. Actually, there is no reason outside of hate and religion. It's discrimination, and all kinds of discrimination are against the law with the exception of sexual orientation.

We all find pics and videos and submit them as our own. I agree with Katt that Blogs should be original works, and probably one of the least censored sections of Ugoto because of this reason.

Once exposed you come under a microscope. I really thought "Miscellaneous Thoughts From My Notepad" was original and after it was exposed felt duped which I'm sure many did. I even replied to Katt repost.

I guess blogs are considered sacred ground to original work unless noting you had no other idea how to post it as others have. You probably aren't the first, just the first to be caught.

Other than that, I welcome your input to your 'insights' whether or not I agree with them. Just don't dupe us.

well i am no stephen king,but i try to write what i am thinking,it sometimes comes out bullshit but it then gives everyone a laugh.so dont worry about being a horrible writer,just be yourself,you will get better at letter writing.i also use spell chock (hehehe,somtimes.)

I have nothing against gay marriage.

Whats annoying is that they make so much noise about how people treat them different & stuff, while they keep acting as if they're different & need some special treatment just cuz they're gay.

I don't think gays should get married, I don't think straight people should get married. Why on earth would two people who love each other want to introduce a contractual obligation into something that should be purely based on emotion and feelings. Love is all that should matter. Have yourselves a nice commitment ceremony, that way if the shit hits the fan you aren't obligated to stay together because getting a divorce would just be too much trouble.
