i was reading the comments for "Thats Not A Dog Bone!" and SoR_AWC was getting ripped up by people for calling the post (which was a repost) a repost, even though he had proof it was a repost, the link to the other picture

i used to be known as "the repost police" because every time there was a repost, i was usually the first to call it, or the I was the person who corrected people if something wasnt a repost and they said it was

i stopped calling reposts for 2 reasons

A) theres a lot of new people here, who post stuff THEY think is original, and you cant blame someone for trying, if they dont know

B) whenever someone calls repost, they usually get tore up really bad

Yeah.....I've also realized that if something had been posted several months ago, and then again just recently, I shouldn't mention that it's a repost simply because it makes me look like I don't have a life outside of memorizing everything on Ugoto.

Fair enough if something was posted months ago, but that Fat Girl with the Fuck Off Shirt has been posted 3 times in I think 2 weeks. The second one was posted 4 hours after the first. It's a tad annoying. But the more annoying thing is poeple who post 15 things in a row of boring shit. It's good that the stuff people post, is not rejected, and as Joe said, some of the comments on the reposts are funny, but perhaps a little more effort to check if it's been posted before would be nice.

I wish my grass was an Emo, because then it would cut itself.

Thats the biggest thing to note about Ugoto's new format. Now, we are ALL sorting thru the stuff that Joe and Katt were slogging through every day under New Submissions. The job wasnt as easy as it seemed, is it?

Just like Sarah said, when you see a repost- ignore it. So also ignore a 'repost!' comment.
Stop making a big deal of 'repost!' comments! Waste your energy & tokens on other tasteful comments instead of 'ripping' the member!

I miss saying 'repost' sometimes. And if I see a submission and I think its a repost- I'll say its a repost.
