i have never known the reason why is it when you see someone yawn you yawn aswell?

i have never been able to work it out and its been bugging me for a while now,

I read about it once.
It was written that when you look at the person's eyes, it makes you feel like yawning too... I dont really remmber why. But it was something with the eyes.

i actually asked my sciene teacher, my health teacher, and my history (who teaches psychology) all said that its because when someone yawns, they are taking in more oxygen, and you think "i need more air! its running out!" and you take more in
