Getting Old

One Of Those Days....
Next

I was going through my i-Tunes the other day when it hit me, I listen to a lot of embarrassing music.
So my question to all of you is, what songs do you absolutely love but are just WAY too embarrassed to tell anyone about ?

I'll go first.
Be warned, this one is a doozy ...

*SIGH*

I LOVE the song, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy (it's a WW2 era song) by The Andrews Sisters & re-made by Bette Midler in '72 (yes I know, I'm a loser for knowing that).
Wait, it gets worse ...
I, not only, know ALL of the words to it by heart & sing it ... but, I also know how to do the swing dance that goes along with it.

YES I DO !!!

Now, stop laughing at me & tell everyone what your musical embarrassments are.

I like the song Cotton Eye Joe by Rednex. If you haven't heard of it you MUST look it up ant listen to it. I don't know why I like it considering the majority of the music I listen to is heavy. When I think of favorite music thats embarrassing, I go to the 80's. I LOVE the song "Rock Me Amadeus".

Shhh. Don't tell anyone.

I love music period. But I just can not get into Heavy Metal, Hard Rock, and the only thing I really can not stand is "Gansta Rap" - I like the music but do not tolerate the lyrics!!!

Loser.

Anyway, I don't listen to embarassing music.

But I do have a diverse taste in music that ranges from Elton John, to Johnny Cash, to Slipknot etc.

I can list everything on my MP3 player and it would all be hardcore music, but if I listed everything I liked, it would be a huge list.

THATS A HUGE LIST!

On my MP4 player i got a lot of Mudvayne, Disturbed, Static-X, Slipknot, Godsmack, Red Hot Chilipeppers and Metallica.

But sometimes I love listening to Wierd al Yankovich and Steven Lynch.

I'm a huge fan of all the Beatles songs and most of Paul McCartney's songs. Some of my favorites, Hey Jude, Maxwell's Silver Hammer, Rocky Racoon, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, etc. It's embarrasing because everyone else my age listens to Nelly, Pussycat Dolls, 50cent, and all that stuff.

Are "Toys r Us" in the ghetto called "We b Toys"?

I have a couple: I love "The Man Who Never Returned" by Kingston Trio. I'll admit that I absolutely LOVE 99 Luftballons and even "Time After Time" by Cindi Lauper and "Kiss You All Over" by Exile
