The Back Of The Me Four Twelve Concept

Problems
Next

ive heard from the rumor mill that hiliary clinton will be running for the '08 elections. if she wins that will be a very sad day. and worst of all she ANTI-GUN! and for those of you who dont like bush and think he is a total fool. imagine if hiliary takes office. already the laws are FUBAR. example. if someone comes in your house. you cant defend yourself. you have to go to the end of the house and hide while they clean your house out. and if you do draw you gun on them you better kill em. cause they can sue you. its a f***ed up world people. and the way i see it. if your not part of the sloution, your part of the problem.
im anxious to hear what my fellow site members have to say about this topic. plz leave a comment!

I was going to give you a thousand reasons why everyone should be concerned (complete with links) but it is very well written on the net. Just type in Hillary and you'll get a ton, let alone Hillary Clinton.

The best source was actually her website: http://www.issues2000.org/Senate/Hillary_Clinto n.htm

Specifically regarding her record on guns (directly from her site):
Keep guns away from people who shouldn’t have them. (Sep 2000)
Limit access to weapons; look for early warning signs. (Sep 2000)
License and register all handgun sales. (Jun 2000)
Tough gun control keeps guns out of wrong hands. (Jul 1999)
Gun control protects our children. (Jul 1999)
Don’t water down sensible gun control legislation. (Jul 1999)
Lock up guns; store ammo separately. (Jun 1999)
Ban kids’ unsupervised access to guns. (Jun 1999)
Voted NO on prohibiting lawsuits against gun manufacturers. (Jul 2005)
Voted NO on banning lawsuits against gun manufacturers for gun violence. (Mar 2004)

Highlights of her acheivements if you will (she never introduced anything of significance in the years as a senator) are how she voted:
Gay soldiers need to shoot straight, not be straight. (Nov 2003)
Gays deserve domestic partnership benefits. (Feb 2000)
Remain vigilant on a woman’s right to chose. (Jan 2000)
Voted NO on criminal penalty for harming unborn fetus during other crime. (Mar 2004)
Fight with Gore for public schools; no voucher “gimmicks”. (Mar 2000)
Teacher testing only for new teachers. (Oct 2000)
Voted YES on disallowing an oil leasing program in Alaska's AMWR. (Nov 2005)
Boycott violent media and products. (Aug 1999)
More funds for after-school programs. (Nov 1998)

Man I can keep quoting from her site, visit it and decide for yourself!

People will forget what you said.
People will forget what you did.
But people will never forget how you made them feel.

My mom always said that Hillary will be the first american president.

Now, I think you're bein silly. She wana improve the USA (which has a crap image now), and you cry bcuz of some f***ing guns?!?!
Your life will improve & you complain bcuz of guns?!
Get a life & grow up!
What do you get from holding a gun? So many people are getting killed cuz of pyschos having guns. It will just mean you will have a safer country. I dont see any good having a gun. Guns are killing machines. Full stop.
Dont forget- she's a woman, she knows better! Lol

So thats my opinion. She'll be much better than Bush for sure.

If there will be no guns, then it will be hard for criminals to have them. And taking action about criminals is a different topic (which the law should take care of).

Guns are not killing machines. I have a loaded .44mag DE sitting on my desk right now. It hasn't EVER killed anyone. Its loaded with fully jacketed hollow points by the way.

I have known 3 people in my life that have killed other people IN FIST FIGHTS! Should we out law fists? I have known others that have been killed by drunk drivers. Shouldn't we out law cars? They kill more people than guns ever do. People die from cancer every day. Maybe we should out law cancer.

Get real. It comes down to personal responsibility. SOmeone breaks into my shop or my house with me in it, I'm going to do what I have to do to stop them. NOT BEND OVER AND SAY 'TAKE WHAT EVER YOU WANT TO YOU POOR INNOCENT CRIMINAL!'

The propuse of guys is what? To cuddle & give to people? No, it is to harm/hurt/ kill/finish them!
I say guns should be banned, cuz many times its bein used for complete stupid stuff. Like school shooting. And killing for silly reasons by people who do not value life.
Im not saying that all guys are used for killing and all people who have them use them for that. But when people use it for stupid reasons to kill people- then it is totally wrong. And if it is not possible to stop those people, then its better that people wont have guns at all.

You say you have a gun for your own protection. And you know, I feel pity for you. It shows you live in a place you dont feel safe in, and you dont have any other alternative to keep you safe.
I used to live in Africa for 8 years, I never felt I need such protection there. And they say America is a civalised country...

well we dont all live in candyland where everything is just peaches n' cream. there are evil people out there and if we dont protect ourself. they weill be the only people on earth. and if we didnt have guns prisioners would overrun the guards and would excape. and would run around doing crimes and killing. and thats just one of the reasons why we should keep guns.

And there are other ways to protect yourself apart from using guns!

Outlaw Cancer!!! OutLaw Drunk Drivers!

You're right guns don't kill the people using them do the killing. But unfortunately the truth is also that many children have been killed by guns accidentally because of negligence of some gun owners.
So I'm not really aganist guns, but I do think we need to make the law very strict as to who can buy them and get a liscence to carry them.

Truth is that even if they were banned they would still be out there and in use; only then it would make "criminals" out of some innocent people - like Monkey & Ptergriffin, who just like to collect them; do target shooting; and just want to have them for protection against the real criminals!!!!

I've never read anything where banning guns has ever reduced crime. The focus should be on teaching people how to handle firearms properly. Once people know how to operate them properly, accidents will drop. Of course, I may just be shooting myself in the foot (pardon the pun) by saying this on this site, since there is ample evidence of people who are just plain stupid and should under no circumstances handle any weapon.

A Willow Creek man was charged Thursday with barging into a Three Forks woman's home and beating her with a seven-point elk antler.

Rocky Ray Kallem, 34, faces felony charges of assault with a weapon and aggravated burglary. Here's the link: http://www.dailychronicle.com/articles/2006/05/19/b reakingnews/10antler.txt

Should we now outlaw elk antlers too?

How clever to compare everything used to kill people with to guns. Not. Instead of giving good & convencing reason, you just dont have any.
By giving me ths link, you showed me that American people will kill with anything. Instead of using the brain, people use weapon. Very civalised.
And, by the way, the did you read roday's news about the guy from Baton Rouge, Louisiana???
Thats what Hillary is trying to stop. But you dont want her to. Fine then. I dont give a s**t if you wana get killed like that.

Guns are weapons, plain and simple. There are, however, many other types of weapons out there( i.e. knives, clubs, fists, etc.)
Just because many gun related crimes are commited doesn't really mean we should be tougher on guns than any other type of weapon. a knife can kill some one as easily as a gun. People can bludgeon each other to death with lamps, chair legs, or ther fists, yet there is no uproar about those. Why then is there an uproar about guns? I personally see no reason to get so upset about guns and leave out all the other types of weapons people can use to kill each other.

Firstly - it would be really nice if you used an acronym and actaully used it so it made sense. Figure out what it means before using them please - otherwise you just sound like a stupid kid!

Secondly - do you yourself actaully have an opinion or is this some rant that your father had and you thought you'd copy to? I can't for the life of me understand why having better guns regulations could be constrewd as a bad thing. I understand that most people tend to take a stance against a politician based on one or two view points, but I think that this is silly. She has new ideas to bring to the table, she has been elected by her peers and registered voters to the House - why would it be a problem for her to run?

Look - I will start this by saying that I am truly sorry for commenting on this blog - it seems as though the only opinion that you want to hear is the one you already know.

I find it particulary hard to believe that someone of your age would have views like this - really at 15, I never even thought of politics, but if you insist that this is your opinion, and that your not just relaying your fathers, then I am really sorry I mentioned anything.

About FUBAR - everything I've ever been told about that acronym is related to death, dying and the 'art' of war - to which I thought it was ironic that you would use this word when talking about guns and the use of guns. Forgive me again for commenting,

I guess this site is only user friendly if you don't have an opinion of your own!

But went off in another direction. -- So back to Hilary. I for one don't know if I would or wouldn't vote for her. I would have to see who runs against her and then see were they stand on several issues and then I would vote for the lessor of two evils -- CAUSE I DON'T TRUST ANY POLITICIAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
