I thought Wisconson got a shit ton of snow in the winter??

Here in Utah we go through droughts, and then floods. Right now its wet. Second year in a row and we are getting mud slides from the hills.

During the drought years a bunch of assholes lit the mountains on fire, so now it makes the slides even worse.

We get deep snow storms and drifts, eastern winds from wyoming that have knocked over freight trains.

In the spring the weather is about as stable as my sister in law. If you don't like the weather, tomorrow will be different.

We've even gotten tornadoes. Few, but one big enough to damage a high rise building and kill one guy.

Take last week. It snowed the heaviest, wettest snow on wednesday. It hadn't snowed that much since last year. By friday it was 70. It rained so hard last night that it woke me up twice.
Today it was 60 and sunny.

Its like mother nature in Utah needs some fuckin Paxil.

We get earthquakes, but there are hundreds of mini quakes per year that are rarely felt. Thats fine with me. As long as the Wasatch Fault is moving a little each day, it means its less likely to let loose all at once. Last major earthquake was in 76.

Yeah I think the blizzard we had here was pretty bad - close to 36 inches. Although it was amazing to see, cleaning that up wasnt fun. After 2-3 days when all the snow was dirty on the streets, it also seemed like it would NEVER melt. What a mess!

Im also involved in emergency communications so even if I wasnt in the weather there , I go in after to help... I have been in floods, Blizzards, close to but not into forest fire, Tornado, its never particularly fun to be in any of them and not so fun to try to help out afterwards.

The planet wins where weather is concerned.

I'm still waiting for those Jetson cars and transporter beams.

God after readog some of yuor comments i feel so lucky all we ger where i live in the UK is erm rain lol nothing bad at all maybe some strong wind, other parts of the uk get floods but thats the worst thing really!!!!
