Is it me or is the little thingy that says who's in the chatroom disappear?

I can't seem to find it and I don't want to seem rude by logging in and logging right out if I don't see any of my friends.

To see who is in the chatroom, click on the bit near the top of the screen that says how many people are online. This takes you to stats.

Wisdom isn't just knowing what to say, it's knowing if to say it and when. This
also applies to to your actions.

Just log in and back out. I do it. Who cares if others think you are rude...just talk to whomever you want and let the others do what ever it is they do.

I will typically only go into chat if there is someone I'm 1/2 ways familiar with in there as well. Too damn many weirdos this day and age.

There did used to be a chat window on the left side near rss feeds and favorite tags that showed users in chat.

Evidently the new chat front end doesnt incorporate this feature or it just has not been enabled.

pointing to people online and searching is more time consuming then worth it.

When the applet loads just what exactly is the " movie " it is loading? on the top download progress bar
