What is this 'life' that you speak of? I'm unfamiliar with that word.

That happens to me too. Before my company devision was sold off from the much larger corporation that owned it I had to put together a phone list of every single employee. I went home and dreamt it was already done. I woke up smiling until I realized it was just a dream

It is stories like this that make a software consultant cringe. Noone in any company of more than 50 people should ever have to "create a phonelist". HR software should be maintained that generates phonelists and every other type of list imaginable AUTOMATICALLY.

It amazes me how much money some companies will waste having employees do such tasks, just to avoid spenging about 10% of that on software.

(OK rant is over)

Tell me about it, No one seems to like taking responsibilty for something as simple as a phone list.
