Any one ever have a weird dream? I don't mean the every day mundane "I was at school in my underwear" dream. I mean something so screwed up that you remember it for years?

Heres only 1 of mine from about 1998. I might share some others later.

Me and my buddy were hanging out, and for some reason we got invited to a celebrity birthday party. As it ends up we are seated at a table with Stevie Wonder, Marilyn Manson and Rose McGowan for a birthday party for Elizabeth Taylor.

As we are sitting at this round table in the middle of a casino (amongst 100's of guests.... Christopher Guest was there) when Marilyn reaches over the table to my buddy and proclaims that he'd "like to keep him as a pet" and starts trying to rub his head. He then pulls out a leash, and we take off running for the door.

We run to an elevator, the doors open, and out steps Manson, we run to a set of stairs, and down he comes, we run into a room, that we had to use a key to get into, and there's Marilyn and that damned leash.....

Thats when I woke up, and was too scared to get back to sleep for an hour or so. I remember hearing my heart pounding in my ears and could feel it pounding in my chest.

Never watch the MTV movie awards before going to bed....

I had one a few weeks ago where I was on a trampoline-type thingy with what I am guessing were scientists around me. They were bouncing me up and down, and I gave them the thumbs up as I passed through a layer of.... something...and was transported to my late teen years again, but still having all my memories of my life. I remember having plans on having a lot of sex, but I woke up before any fun stuff happened.

I NEVER get to have sex in dreams.

Dammit

When I was a kid I used to have what I called the "Whale Dream". I would dream I was stuck under very cold water by a sheet of ice that only had two air holes at the surface and were very far apart. Problem was when I went up for air, eventually the hole would freeze over and i'd have to swim over to the other one etc, back and forth like this to get air as the holes would freeze over. While doing this to stay alive, there was always a very large pod of Killer Whales below me swimming very close to me but never really attacking or hurting me making loud squeeling sounds...then i'd wake up. the whales mostly come at night...mostly. shhhhhhh, wha was that?

I have recurring dreams about Jerry Orbach. (He plays "Lenny" on Law & Order.) He shows up several times a year in my dreams and is always very nice.

But it's weird.

A few months ago I dreamed that I had a fight with one of my really good friends - a big fight with lots of yelling. So I left him and drove away, but on the way home I was in a car accident and had to be rushed to the hospital. The whole way there I was yelling at the doctors and staff that I had to see my friend again cuz I had to tell him that I was sorry that we fought, but the doctors wouldn't let me. I was crying and everything cuz I really wanted him to know that I was sorry. In the end I never got the chance to tell him cuz I died from the accident.

I woke up with tears on my face and I was so upset I couldn't go back to sleep. It was terrible.

I hate that sensation - when you wake up from a bad dream and you have to figure out if it was real or not.

Like the dream I had 2 years ago, that my little sister was trying to stab me in the neck with a pencil. I woke up screaming "DONT IT HURTS" and my wife was like..."what the hell are you doing?"

once i got in a knife fight with hitler... it was crazy, i stabbed him and then he stabbed me, and then we both died holding each other close..... weird huh? maybe not... i have lots of hitler dreams, and i'm not jewish or arian.... on time i dreamt i was in a concentration camp and had to use someones trachea as a snorkel... its a long story... oh well..
